This privacy policy describes how The Contact Centre Community uses and protects any information that you give us. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with personal information through The Contact Centre Community, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, The Contact Centre Community collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The Contact Centre Community’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how The Contact Centre Community’s visitors use its website. From time to time, The Contact Centre Community may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
The Contact Centre Community also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. The Contact Centre Community does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to The Contact Centre Community choose to interact with The Contact Centre Community in ways that require The Contact Centre Community to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that The Contact Centre Community gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who use our forums to provide a username and email address.
In each case, The Contact Centre Community collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with The Contact Centre Community. The Contact Centre Community does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
All of the information that is collected on The Contact Centre Community will be handled in accordance with GDPR legislation.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organisations may be located outside of your home country; by using The Contact Centre Community, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
The Contact Centre Community will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organisations, as described above, The Contact Centre Community discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, if you give permission to have your information shared, or when The Contact Centre Community believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of The Contact Centre Community, third parties, or the public at large.

If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. The Contact Centre Community takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
